Plant a Tree for Earth Day Hi there,
First of all,
Happy Earth Day!
There are many things that you can do to help the Planet Earth to thrive. Here is a list including a few of them :
* Plant a Tree! (or more than one!)
* Learn about Composting
* Teach your Loved Ones about The Environment and Caring for The Planet
* Create, grow and plant : Vegetable and Herb Gardens, Fruit/Nut Trees, Berries, etc.
* Use Organic Fertilizers
* Stop using Pesticides
I am going to do a few things for the environment this Earth Day including :
* Planting 5 trees in my yard (I love to breath fresh oxygen!)
* Planting and growing green onions, thyme and greens. (Yummy organic food!)
* Learning how I can make my yard more Earth Friendly (I do this daily)
* Learning how I can be more Eco Friendly (I do this daily)
* Building a compost Pile and a Compost Bin (I have been building these for a few days now and they will be finished on Earth Day!)
I grow my own grapes! These leaves are growing on my grapevine that is over 15 years old!
This is one of my year-old artichoke plants. It should fruit either this year or next year.
I will be planting at least 3 more artichoke plants this year.I just love eating artichokes with garlic butter.If your interested in HomeMade Cooking
